For as long as I can remember I've had an insatiable desire to create. For me, making jewelry is about creating functional art - a creative outlet which provides physical adornment and simple enjoyment for others.
I started making jewelry about 15 years ago. Mostly self-taught, I began working with beads and wire developing my skills to include metal work, leather work and enameling along the way. I am continuously exploring new means to develop my craft and new materials to incorporate in my designs.
My travels on this amazing planet of ours are the catalysts for my designs. I find inspiration from nature's pure beauty in texture, color and organic form. My goal is to capitalize on the marvelous range of hues and shapes of imperfect perfection found in our woods, canyons, mountains and seas. In every piece I strive to balance the rustic with fresh, modern undertones.
My husband is my biggest supporter, assistant, and shipping department. Together we are continuing to grow this labor of love to design original pieces for you to enjoy. Making a piece of jewelry that puts a smile on someone's face is extremely gratifiying to me.
